A week ago, John John and Nathan Florence, along with their entire gang of filmmakers and friends, arrived at this mutant slab that they didn't dare to surf.

"Too heavy for the Florences," was the title of the article in DUKE.

Basically they considered that there was no hospital in days of proximity and that the sea was very dangerous.

But the sea calmed down and they went into the water more confident this time. They spent three hours rowing against a current that took them away from the peak but they found some gems.

Nathan says he saw several waves that could have been the waves of his life but he preferred not to go to protect his health.
