Five clips of surfers going crazy during quarantine
The desire to go into the water leaves creativity on the surface; this is what Jhony, Nacho and Julián, Héctor, Miguel and Martín and Thiago did
Chronicle without storm surge presented by Maui and Sons
Never in the last 50 years or so have there been so few surfers in the water at this time. In Hawaii and parts of Australia, surfing has not yet been banned.
The rest of the world is stuck at home and the desire to surf leaves creativity to imitate it at its peak.
This is what five Hispanic Americans have done to bridge the gap.
Jhony Corzo
Even though Puerto Escondido was one of the last places to tacitly ban surfing, Jhony's desire to go into the water quickly led him to act like this:
Nacho Pignataro and Julian Schweizer
In Uruguay, beaches were closed last Monday, but the social condemnation was so strong that many chose not to go into the water. Nacho Pignataro and his friend Julián Schweizer found tubes in a pool, dressed for the occasion and put their longboards in the water.
Hector Santamaria
Pulling Hector out of the water is like removing a lung, but the man still manages to execute a Flippy Moppy Flip on his personal trampoline, just so he doesn't lose the habit.

Martin and Thiago Passeri
With the mandatory quarantine in place in Argentina for more than two weeks now, Martín Passeri has become a benchmark for physical preparation at home. He has made several live broadcasts and his son Thiago, Argentine under-12 champion, is taking notes.
The second of these two videos is a gem.
