Bryan Pérez, Porfirio Miranda, Ericson Adbias, Manuel Rivas are some of the greatest representatives of Salvadoran surfing today, which is in very good health, especially when compared to what happened a decade ago, after Policía Alvarenga and Jimmy Rotherham left the competitions.

Now, how will the next generations come about? Who will be the Bryan Pérez of the future who will stand on the podiums of international events?

DUKE asked Bryan to present five young talents and he put together a list that ranges from youngsters of 12 to older ones of 18, highlighting each one's characteristics.

This is how five promising talents from El Salvador are formed, according to the legendary Bryan Pérez.

Alejandro “Pipito” Martínez

For me, Pipito has the best backside in El Salvador; you put him in Punta Roca or any right with a wall and he will surf it incredibly.

Brayan Molina

Brayan Molina also has a very good backside, it's interesting because he is consistent but as he surfs La Bocana his backside is very powerful. Also now he is surfing better on the frontside so he looks to have a great future.

marvin rodriguez

He's from Kilometer 59, he also has a super good backside, with good style, he does aerials and is a very complete surfer. He's super good, he has a nice backside and frontside style.

Melvin Ayala

Melvin Ayala comes with everything, from El Zonte, he is goofy and started competing last year, he is 12 years old. He is a little boy, the other day I was checking out the waves at Puro Surf and I saw a little boy doing a good bottom turn and hitting it up there, taking out a lot of water, I was surprised to be honest, I even screamed!

A couple more years and he will be at a very, very good level.

Jason Molina

He's from El Tunco, he's another kid, I think he's about 12 years old, and whenever I go surfing in La Bocana he's always in the water. I think that's what's led him to have such a great level with the little time he's had surfing. With that desire he's going to go very, very far.
