Favorable forecast: Everything indicates that the Volcom Pipe Pro starts in a few hours

And it is likely that there will be a championship four days in a row

The machine turned on just in time at Pipe and all signs point to the first four days of the Volcom Pipe Pro waiting period for the champion, forecasting site Surfline reported.

According to the following:

“On Wednesday 29th it will be solid from WNW to NW with light winds. A day for the event to take place.

Thursday: Solid swell from WNW to NW, swell slowly diminishing with light winds: Looks like a championship day.

Friday 31st: New and solid swell from the NW moves in. Onshore winds may also appear. Possible championship day.

Saturday 1st: Solid northwest swell with crosswind. A possible championship day.

Sunday 2: Decreasing swell from the north. Possible  championship day”.

Added comments indicate that waves will be between overhead and double overhead with a good direction for Pipe.  They add that there could be even bigger waves on Wednesday and that even bigger swells are expected in the following days.
