France, Peru, Brazil, the United States and the Philippines lead the world longboard championship

Only the French have all their surfers alive in the main event; South Africa, Mexico, Argentina, Japan and Canada round out the top 10 in that order.

France, Peru, Brazil, the United States and the Philippines are tied in the partial team rankings of the Surf City El Salvador ISA World Longboard Championship, which has just concluded its fourth day on solid waves of 8 to 10 feet in front.

If you want, France has a significant advantage over the rest, with its four longboarders still in rounds of the main event, all with an extra life, with the possibility of falling to the repechage.

Peru and Brazil follow suit, with three athletes in the main event and one in the repechage, while the Philippines and Japan have two, the United States one and South Africa one.

South Africa, Mexico, Argentina, Japan and Canada round out the top 10 in that order.

The best men's performance of the day was once again Edouard Delpero who scored 17,17 and among the women it was Zoe Grospirón who added 16,16.
