France and Brazil lead the rankings ahead of the final day of the World Cup
The defending champions have all their competitors alive in the main event; the top five is completed by Peru, Japan and the Philippines

Teams from France and Brazil lead the partial team rankings ahead of the final day of the Surf City El Salvador ISA World Longboard Championship.
Both still have all their competitors still alive in the event but France has the advantage of having all its competitors in the main event final within a guaranteed medal gap: Antoine and Edouard Delpero, Zoe Grospiron and Alice Lemoigne.
Meanwhile, Brazil has one surfer in each layer: Chloe Calmón and Carlos Bahía in the main event final and Atalanta Batista and Rodrigo Sphaier in repechage 7.
Peru remains in third place with Mafer Reyes in the final of the main event and Piccolo Clemente in round 7 of the repechage.
The top 5 is completed by Japan and the Philippines, the first having two athletes still alive and the second having one.
The Philippines is definitely one of the biggest surprises in the history of the longboarding world championships.
Athletes from the United States, Portugal and American Samoa are still in the event.
