After a multi-day surfing training camp in La Bocana and El Sunzal with the women's pre-selection, the French surfing federation confirmed that Vahine Fierro and Pauline Ado complete their country's selection for the ISA World Surfing Games that will take place between May 29 and June 6.

These two were added to the already confirmed members of the CT during 2019, Jérémy Florès, Michel Bourez, Joan Duru and Johanne Defay.

Fierro and Ado competed in the training camp against Thessa Thyssen and Canelle Bulard, and the French coaches determined that the local from Tahiti, Fierro, and the Anglet native, Ado, will be selected to fight for the seven women's spots for Tokyo 2020 that the World Championship will award.

With this, the French team travels with five surfers who are or were in CT Flores, Bourez, Duru, Defay and Ado and the young talent Fierro.

France won the 2017 ISA World Surfing Games, which took place on the waves of Biarritz.
