Frankie Usuna surfed a mini Indonesia somewhere in Argentina

He says that there are solid and tubular waves if there are adequate swell and tide conditions, and that these tubes break when the sea is small.

Frankie and Lele Usuna have been venturing to different places along the giant Argentine coast and have found some gems that they have shown in some stories, but never with names and surnames.

The greatest of the Usuna brothers presented “La Sequita”, a wave that looks like Indo, both for the color of the water and especially for the point tubes it produces.

To make things more promising, he says that it breaks “when the swell goes down.”

“We usually go to this rock that breaks like a pool of perfect waves to ensure some tubes and return home happy. I like the left one better because it has a tube forward with more travel and the right one is shorter and rolls more like a bowl,” says Frankie.

And he adds: “This wave (which requires contact to enter the field) made me think, is there a rock that breaks with the same quality, but three or four meters long? The answer is yes! You just have to find the most exposed rocks and take into account the tides, winds and swell direction. Does it take time? Yes! Is it worth it? Of course it does! I think there is nothing more satisfying than surfing something that has never been surfed and at an international level with friends in this beloved land that we call home. It has a different taste, a different feeling.”

In the video, he can be seen putting one tube after another into a wave that he can safely descend into and then measuring how deep he can fit in.

You can also see a right, as Frankie says, and tubes everywhere.

Argentina, with its thousands of kilometers of coastline, concentrates its largest surfing population in Mar del Plata and its surrounding areas.

In Playa Unión, Chubut there is a surfing community and there are some surfers in isolated places.

But there was always a strong belief that there would be perfect waves on that giant coast. Frankie and his brother Lele confirmed this.
