"Gabriel Medina: If you go, I'll go," says John John in his latest post, in which he shows incredible surfing by Medina first and then by himself on two consecutive waves.

Medina pipes and carves into Pipe and John John goes to Backdoor, where he hits a high air that he combines with a curve and an ollie.

The Pipe Pro begins its waiting period today, Monday, January 29, and concludes on February 10.

This is the first leg of the WSL CT tour.

John John and Gabriel are favorites.
