After the first day of the Backdoor Shootout concluded, in one of the biggest and heaviest Pipes of the season, Peruvian Gabriel Villarán found this bomb and got a great tube.

On a classic Pipe left, with the last rays of sun in the middle of a heavy crowd, the Peruvian descended with great effort, established the line, went deep into the cavern and came out after the spray.

"First session on the North Shore yesterday late, after the Backdoor Shootout. Waited for hours with a mega crowd and hit this pod. Motivated for the upcoming swells," he wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.
