After living seven years in Chile, where in addition to surfing perfect waves he became a lover of photography, Mariano Agustín Serna returned to his home in Mar del Plata and on the other side of America, he continued with his passion.

“Walking along the shore at dawn, weeks of southerly winds, waiting for that rotation where the conditions improve. The day arrived, with great anticipation, an amazing day of waves was expected, it was a tough day with several artists in the water,” he told DUKE about this day.

Regarding his photography, Mariano said that photography “motivates” him because it “allows him to experience new visual adventures.” “I like underwater photography and everything that involves being in the presence of the sea. It is the medium in which I feel most comfortable.”

“Returning to my country, and especially to my city, encouraged me to seek new challenges and, above all, to be able to show the potential that the Atlantic coast can offer,” he concluded.

The photos show Lele Usuna, Juan Ruggiero and a couple more talents who won over Honu Beach early yesterday morning.
