Hawaiian local dies surfing Sunset

His body was found floating, he was pulled out of the water and then firefighters tried to revive him and when they were unsuccessful he was immediately taken to the hospital, visiting surfer Garra Mendez from Hawaii who spent Saturday surfing Sunset told DUKE.

Once at the hospital he was declared dead.

According to Méndez, the man fell into a wave between two others, which worked against him, and he ended up falling and then ending his life.

He was married and had two children.
