Healey did it again: He sent himself into the dreaded Waimea left
For some reason, in a place where 500 people surf, only one person goes to the left.
In addition to being a giant square tube, Waimea Left carries the added danger of being swept away by rocks in one of the most dangerous seas in the world.
There's a reason one of the most crowded lineups in the world only sees a few people going left, and even then, people like Mark Healey end up paying the price that Waimea charges.
Interesting session on the North Shore of Oahu.
