Mysteriously, Hector Santamaria no longer appears on the main roster of Stab High

The Puerto Rican says he doesn't know what happened, they lowered his name and now he asks to be voted in as the people's wildcard

Puerto Rican Hector Santamaria, who was one of the first to appear on the guest list for the Stab High, the first aerials event in the Waco, Texas, pool, now no longer appears on the list and he does not know what happened and the organizers do not respond to inquiries.

Santamaría appeared on the tournament website stabhigh.com with a description that spoke of his ability to fly in small waves and of the master force of “Chi”, with which Hector carries out his life. DUKE reported this on August 23.

Suddenly, last Friday the Puerto Rican posted a video on instagram asking people to vote for him to get the people's wildcard, something that seemed unnecessary knowing that he had managed to get into the main draw, but his name no longer appeared on the site.

Asked about this, Hector said he doesn't know what happened. He said he had been told that everything had been paid for to travel to Waco with his wife and that he had been asked for the measurements for the boardshorts they would wear during the tournament that takes place on September 22.

DUKE's editorial team contacted Stab three days ago to try to find out what happened, but they have not yet responded.

Coincidentally, Stab announced in recent days that the young Australian Kael Walsh had been invited to the aforementioned tournament.

Now Santamaría has placed his hopes on the popular vote. Moreover, the inventor of the Flippy Moppy Flip is guaranteed to compete in the WSL aerials event in France in October.

Voting to determine people's wildcard is done here.
