The series of the fifth and fundamental stage of the CT 2024, the Margaret River Pro, were released today by the WSL and have as major novelties the presence of the young Australians George Pittar and Reef Heazlewood, one acting as a guest and the other as replacements for either Filipe Toledo or Joao Chianca.
Local wildcards remain to be defined and will be determined, as is traditional, in the trials prior to the event.
Some of the notable series pit local Jack Robinson against Gabriel Medina, Kanoa Igarashi against Italo Ferreira and Slater against Ramzi Boukhiam and Jake Marshall.
Costa Rican Brisa Hennessy will face Tatiana Weston Webb and Isabella Nichols.
