Lucía Indurain was one step away from Olympic qualification at the 2021 ISA World Surfing Games and has experienced this period between one Olympic qualification and the next with anxiety, she shares in the video.

“I want to be where the chips are down and fighting for that,” she says, knowing that the wait is over and that with these Pan American Surfing Games in Santa Catalina between April 21 and 30, she is beginning to walk towards her revenge in the search for Olympic glory.

“For me it would be a huge goal to know that I can be the first Olympic surfer from Argentina (…) You have to put your heart and soul into it and have faith,” she says.

Using El Salvador as her second home, Lucia has a lot of practice on the right so she will be very strong in Santa Catalina.
