The 2022 ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championships will be held in Puerto Rico, the ISA reported in a press release sent in reference to the annual general meeting that took place online last Monday.
The minutes of the President's speech include, among other news, confirmation that the island of enchantment will be the venue and an announcement that there will be a press release on the matter.
The SUP world has echoed that paragraph in the statement, pointing out that the last ISA World Championships were held in 2019 and that the announcement breaks a two-year silence on the World Championships, SUPracer.com said, also highlighting the news that the canoe federation has already announced that its 2022 World Championships will be held in Poland.
This website highlights as a great novelty that in one year there will be two World Cups.
The SUP World Championship is the second confirmed for 2022, as it was previously announced that the youth championship will take place in El Salvador.
