Ian Gouveia does aerial, greets the cameraman and passes the series
And he definitely made it into the highlight reel of the day.
Brazilian Ian Gouveia had one of the most striking moments of the entire competition at the Ballito Pro after completing a good aerial, coming out of the wave and laughing as he greeted the cameraman who ended up staying next to him.
Gouveia, who was third and needed a score, scored 7,33 on the wave and from then on he moved into first place but ended up placing second and making it to the round of XNUMX.
Commentator Gigs Celliers said it was the Kelly-Rob Machado high five from 1995 but “Ballito style”.
Deivid Silva came in first and Kauli Vaast and Lucas Silveira said goodbye to the event.
