In a period of 10 days, several of the best waves in the world opened their season
Follow the route from Nazaré to Waimea, passing through Mundaka, Mavericks, Pipe and Jaws
The northern hemisphere woke up almost simultaneously in both the Atlantic and Pacific, causing the world's major waves to open their season within a 10-day period.
That sea that Italo Ferreira surfed in Nazaré kicked off, then Mavericks followed, then the Hawaiian Islands saw Jaws, Waimea and Pipe break and with the swell settling in Europe, Mundaka also broke.
It is not every day that several waves on the planet break at the same time within a few days.
Below is the route:
Nazaré - October 25
Mavericks - October 25
First signs of life in Pipe and Backdoor - November 1st
Waimea and Jaws wake up - November 2
On the same day, everything was aligned in Mundaka:
Pipe got more serious yesterday - November 3rd
