She sent a heroic series against Sierra Kerr; the Costa Rican will fight for her first world title in Lowers in September in her second appearance in the final

Costa Rican Brisa Hennessy, who suffered a cut on her foot and received stitches to treat it, has just narrowly won her series against Sierra Kerr, competing very intelligently, and with this she guaranteed herself a place in the WSL finals.

Visibly affected by the injury, Hennessy was conservative in the heat, surfing short waves without taking too many risks and was fortunate that Kerr did not find his way out of a couple of barrels.

With this result Brisa can even improve her position in the finals, being partially third but she cannot reach the first place that Caitlin Simmers already guaranteed her.

Hennessy was in the finals in 2022 where she placed fifth, narrowly losing to champion Steph Gilmore.
