It's all or nothing in the Philippines qualifier
Representatives from Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica, Peru, and Uruguay will compete for the four spots that qualify for the CT of the discipline (and there are more than 110 registered participants)
Two spots per gender will be up for grabs on the waves of La Union, Philippines, between January 20 and 24 when the La Union International Pro takes place.
A new WSL event that does not follow the regional qualification standards but instead gives two direct spots per gender to the CT longboard.
Among the 71 men and 42 women registered to date are representatives from Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica, Peru and Uruguay, who are Nacho Pignataro, Julián Schweizer, Jon Garmendia, Gordo Melendres, Dorian Torres, Tzahui Poo, Heriberto Torres Martínez and María Fernanda Reyes.
