Italo, Miguel and Rob Kelly surfed the first waves in the city of Sao Paulo

Memberships to the Surf Club will cost more than $160.000 and the annual fee just over $4.000.

Italo Ferreira, Miguel Pupo and Rob Kelly inaugurated the wave pool at the Sao Paulo Surf Club, with Perfect Swell technology; the establishment boasts of being the only one in the middle of a large metropolis like Sao Paulo, reported the wave company and the developer.

The wave does not break on the outskirts as it happens in the previous pools but in the middle of the city, in the Morumbí neighborhood next to the Ponte Estaiada.

According to the Instagram profile AOS Mídia, Italo Ferreira said: “I was really looking forward to seeing how the work was progressing up close. Being one of the first surfers to try this technology here at the club, especially in the centre of São Paulo, was something unique. Seeing the wave pools grow and making surfing known to people makes me very happy. I tried it and it has been more than approved, but now I can't wait for the inauguration.”

According to AOS, Surf Club memberships will cost $160.000 for family groups with annual dues of more than $4000.
