The head of The Lab is hospitalized with brain injuries

The well-known Venezuelan laminator based in Oceanside, California, Ivan Mendoza suffered a serious accident while playing baseball yesterday in the United States. He ran for a ball and hit a fence.
He suffered a fractured jaw, lost his teeth, cut his chin, and suffered a brain injury, suffering a concussion and a hematoma. He was transferred to Scripps Hospital in La Jolla so that the brain bleeding could be monitored, friends of the Venezuelan reported on the page that GoFundMe that they created to help him.
“Unfortunately, Ivan does not have health insurance and this is going to cost him a lot. We don’t know how long he will be in the hospital, but we do know that recovery will take a long time and that he will not be able to work for a while,” they say.
“Everyone who knows Ivan knows he is the most caring, loving and generous person. He has shared his home with so many friends and treats everyone like family. This is the time for those friends and family to give back to him if they can. I know all he cares about is his son Myles and his employees,” they added.
