Australian Jack Robinson and American Autumn Hays were the winners of the historic Heroes of Mayo, a QS 1500 stage that marked the return of the world tour to the waves of Iquique after 25 years.
Latin America, which had been making the home team respect its home team in recent regional tournaments, had to settle for two second places, with both Alonso Correa and Mimi Barona finishing second.
The tournament, which had solid waves in its first days, lacked consistency or size today, Thursday, on the final day.
