Australian Jake Paterson, former member of the CT, former Pipe Master and famous coach of the Colapinto brothers, Kanoa Igarashi and Steph Gilmore when he won his seventh title, among others, has announced his retirement from the world of training.
The author of the famous Snake Tales that follows his surfers on tour said on his Instagram that he will now work on the sunscreen brand We Are Feel Good.
In a heartfelt message, she wrote: “The fun is over. Time to hang up the passport! I have decided, with the help of Covid, to take a full-time job at We are feel good.”
“Mixed feelings for me. It’s been super rewarding to coach the kids to reach their goals and give them some life lessons along the way. I coached five who went from QS to CT, I was also with Stephanie who won her seventh title,” he added.
“I love training and I will miss it a lot,” said the Australian.
