Once again, the two González Etxebarri sisters will be present at the tournament

Janire González Etxebarri will also be at the WSL Junior World Championships taking place in La Union, Philippines, from January 13-19.

This was reported to DUKE by several surfers close to the surfer and also, the surfer herself was already seen training on the right-hand waves where the tournament will take place.

Etxebarri joins her sister once again at the WSL World Championships, which they competed in together last year. On that occasion, Janire had to retire injured and Annette placed fifth.

The Spanish contingent is surely the largest in the history of the event with five surfers present: In addition to the aforementioned sisters there are Dylan Donegan, Kai Odriozola and Keoni Lasa who also represents Venezuela.

Also participating in the tournament will be Peruvians Arena Rodríguez and Catalina Zariquiey.

The series of the same has not yet been disclosed.
