Legendary American longboarder Taylor Jensen completed his second consecutive World Longboard Tour stage today in Huntington Beach and secured his place in the finals to be held in El Sunzal, El Salvador from October 9-13.

As the best two of the three stages to be completed to qualify for the finals are added, there is no way that the multiple world champion will not return to El Sunzal to fight for the title.

In the women's category, American Rachael Tilly was the champion of the stage and with this result she placed second in the ranking, which is still led by Soleil Errico.

Jensen was superior in the final to the outstanding Filipino Rogerio Esquivel who finished fifth in Bells and had a good crowd cheering for him in HB. The final was decided by a narrow margin: 15,07 to 14,47.

Tilly, for her part, beat Errico by a wide margin: 14,27 to 5,77.

The performance of the Latin Americans showed an inspired Mafer Reyes in round 2, in which she achieved the fourth best score of the round, 13,93 to beat the English Emily Currie.

Mafer then failed in round 3 against the American Mason Schremmer by 10,07 to 6,87.

This was, so far, the best performance of the Peruvian in the tour, as she placed 17th in Bells.

Mafer is now in 17th position in the ranking.

Nacho Pignataro had an outstanding series in his debut in HB, scoring 11,67 in round 1, finishing less than two points behind Kaniela Stewart, who came in first, leaving Michael Van Hohonstein in third.

Then, in round 2 he was unable to beat Ben Skinner who did 16,43, which was superior to the Uruguayan's 10,24.

For his part, the only Brazilian competing in the first A of the world tour, Alexandre Escobar, also started with good scores: He placed third with 11,76 in his series against Kevin Skvarna (13,43) and Tony Silvagni (12,87).

Then, in the elimination series, Escobar was 0,3 ahead of Edourard Delpero, who beat him 11,67 to 11,30.

The world tour will continue to a destination yet to be determined. Prior to the finals in El Salvador, there will be a third stage, the date and place of which have not yet been announced.
