Jeremy Flores has withdrawn from the Margaret River Pro

He will be replaced by Kael Walsh (AUS). The event will start on Friday or Saturday.

Frenchman Jeremy Flores has withdrawn from the Margaret River Pro, the WSL announced on Tuesday. According to a statement, the two-time Pipe Masters has just had his first child and preferred to stay at home.

"My beautiful daughter, the best thing that ever happened to me," Jeremy wrote on Facebook. "This is a happy enough reason to miss an event," he added of future champion Hinahei Flores.

Faced with this situation, the WSL gave Jeremy's place to Kael Walsh, who placed second in the trials for the tournament, behind David Delroy-Carr.
