Joan Duru had an accident, dropped out of the Ericeira 10.000m and is in doubt for Hossegor
He hit the Portuguese rocks during a free surf

Frenchman Joan Duru had an accident on the rocks of Portugal that caused injuries all over his body and forced him to withdraw from the QS 10.000 in Ericeira in which he had been competing with good results, he himself reported on his Instagram.
“I had a bad crash on the rocks during a free surf and I won’t be able to do my heat at the QS in Portugal,” Duru wrote. “I will do my best to recover before France,” he added.
The photos show wounds on his shoulder, right hand, left leg and his board with a broken keel and several bruises.
The end of the wave at Ribeira D'Ilhas where the event is taking place has several rocks and risking a maneuver in that section could be dangerous.
Due to their absence, Patrick Gudauskas and Ian Crane went straight to round 5, although they contested the series to see who would go through first and who would go second.
