Joaquin del Castillo won in Puerto Rico
Tao, Brian, Bryan, Rubiana, Lucía and Melanie achieved finals in the event
Peruvian Joaquín del Castillo won the traditional Pro Circuit held annually on Jobos beach in Isabela, Puerto Rico.
Thanks to his powerful and fluid backside attack in the small waves, the Punta Hermosa local defeated Tao Rodríguez from Panama by 13,34 to 13,2, who placed second.
Local Brian Toth was second with 12,4 and Bryan Pérez from Salador fourth with 11,57.
Among the women, Costa Rican Rubiana Brownell came in second with 8,87, Lucía Indurain third with 8,4 and Melanie Giunta 7,9.
The women's victory went to American Zoey Bendetto.
