On his long journey around the world, John John passed through Bocas del Toro and made a special match with the Bluff, one of the most emblematic waves of the place.
He dropped in further back and deeper into the barrel than anyone in the history of that wave and got an impressive number of barrels.
And, true to the dangerous nature of the beach, he also took a few knocks.
"We loved these beach breaks! We spent all our time chasing barrels and avoiding storms. We're excited to share more of this part of the world!" he explained.
The journey then continued along the Panamanian Pacific coast, and a video is coming soon.
