John John and Carissa won the Hawaiian Triple Crown, again
Carissa took victory in all three waves, John John won at Haleiwa and Sunset; Crosby Colapinto won at Pipe; Costa Rican Brisa Hennessy was third in the women's general classification
The second edition of the digital Hawaiian Triple Crown was won for the second consecutive year by Carissa Moore and John John Florence, as announced at the event's gala held on Sunday night in Hawaii.
Moore was dominant at every wave, Haleiwa, Sunset and Pipe while John John won at Haleiwa and Sunset and was upset by Billy Kemper and Crosby Colapinto (winner) at his favorite wave, Pipeline.
The public vote award was won by Brazilian Tomas Hermes and, again, by Carissa Moore.
Guillem Cruells, Layne Stratton, Ana Hermes and Erik Knutson won the award for the filmmakers who captured the most waves in the competition.
