John John crossed the Panama Canal

After getting barreled in Bocas del Toro, he switched oceans; now he'll travel to the Marquesas Islands, Tahiti, and other destinations in the Pacific; it's unknown if he'll stop for any more Panamanian waves.

John John Florence's adventure has just changed oceans after crossing the Panama Canal, as he himself showed in his Instagram stories.

Florence had been in Bocas del Toro, surfing the perfect waves of the area, getting barreled at the Bluff and sliding on other breaks.

Now the adventure shifts oceans. It's unknown whether he'll surf any waves in the South Pacific, but in principle, as he told Surfer in March, the trip will continue through the Marquesas Islands, then to Tahiti and the South Pacific, "before perhaps ending in New Zealand in November or December," he stated.

In the stories, John John is seen commanding "Here we go" and entering the locks that transfer water from one canal to another.
