John John doing the best surfing in the world (once again)

Nobody is seen doing this (watch the video)

In View from a Blue Moon, one of John John's signature videos, and in other clips, the Hawaiian left the world speechless with that carving executed in the critical part of triple overhead waves, sometimes larger, in which he surfed with a 6'0, 6'2, etc.

A carving technique that has not been repeated very often by many throughout history, yes in small waves, of course, but not in those huge bombs.

Such massive bombs that most human beings would be falling straight down with an eight-foot drop under their feet.

But the reality is that it all makes sense: They are the best carvings in the world because power equals power; such an impressive curve can only be made because the wave has that magnitude.

Everything Toledo does is OK, but they'll never be like that because he'll never execute them in such a massive bomb.

The same is true for Jordy or Ewing, refined carving makers.

And John John did it again, another one of those clips that have more impact than any full rotation.

He received praise from Kelly and several of the top players. But WSL commentator and former pro, Charger Strider Wasileski, put it best: “New Year’s resolution: Don’t change a thing.”
