"In the storm", the film by Jhonny Guerrero, is available
It's part of the Brooklyn Film Festival and you need to follow these steps to see it
Since last Friday and until June 7, the film by young Peruvian talent Jhonny Guerrero is available as part of the prestigious Brooklyn Film Festival in the documentary category.
The film shows the talented surfer's sacrificed life in Chorrillos, a neighborhood rife with crime, where he wonders what path to follow.
The 80 minutes show beautiful images of surfing and also a harsh reality, which seems far away but the film takes care to show is very close.
“Watching the documentary reminded me of many things, it was complicated, thank God everything (turned out) well. And I want you to know that despite everything, I will continue fighting as always,” Guerrero wrote on his social networks.
He added: “I am super happy and motivated and even though I don't have sponsors, I will come back stronger than ever. I want to thank you, the people who follow me, for the great advice and good vibes.”
The surfer also invites people to vote for the film.
