Miguel Tudela and Jonathan Gubbins took two of the best of the day yesterday at Skeleton Bay

Peru is being well represented in Africa

Peruvians Miguel Tudela and Jonathan Gubbins took two of the best waves of the day yesterday at Skeleton Bay, Namibia, which is enjoying a second consistent swell in the last three weeks.

A Peruvian delegation made up of Gabriel Villarán, Tudela himself and Guillermo González, traveled to the wave where they were received by Jonathan Gubbins who was already there for the previous trip.

In one of his stories, Villarán said that Tudela's was one of the best waves of the day. He then showed Tudela fresh out of the water, saying that he had surfed for nine hours and later the Punta Hermosa local himself shared the footage:

Then Surfline released drone footage of Jonathan Gubbins taking one tube after another.

“Skeleton is my favourite beach and not necessarily the one I do best at. Almost a month in Africa to expect to have a session like this, two days of surfing in total. Many ups and downs in this mythical break. We are happy that we had a day like this and even more so with the Peruvian team that left their mark, what a level!” wrote the Peruvian.
