Basque Kai Odriozola has also been invited to the WSL Junior World Championships, which will take place in the waves of La Union, Philippines, between January 13 and 19, his compatriot and friend Keoni Lasa told DUKE.
Odriozola, who is 19 years old, competed in the challenger series during 2024.
This will mean four Basque surfers will be present at the grand tournament, as in addition to Odriozola and Lasa, sisters Janire and Annette González Etxebarri will be there.
