Kauli Vaast risked his neck today in this bomb in Chopes
The young local is two weeks away from surfing at the Olympics, towing in these bodies of water
Special coverage of Olympic surfing on DUKE is presented by the International Surfing Association, The Island Surf Shop, SurfCycled, lineup, Swellboards, ALAS, Capi Bar, Quality Surfboards y Ramp 4 Kids
Kauli Vaast is playing with fire at home, he went on a terrifying tow-in bomb, went deep and flew out at 200 miles an hour to tell the tale.
It was, for now, the giant swell bomb that had been announced.
It is not known if it was code red, like the one in 2011, but it hit the post with waves like that of Kauli.
There were paddle waves too, yesterday, like this one (click here) from Kala Grace.
