Koa Smith on vacation in Peru
The Hawaiian talent went to Cusco from where he has posted profound existential messages
Koa Smith, the talented Hawaiian free surfer, is on vacation in Peru. He informed DUKE himself through his social media posts and his friend Cristóbal de Col confirmed it to DUKEsurf.
After arriving in Lima, where he met with the former world youth champion, Smith left for Cusco, where he will spend the next few days, and then head north, where he will share time with his friend at the famous Titi pyramid, named in honor of the legendary Titi de Col.
In the past few hours, Smith has shared some stories in which he reflects on life: “In 20 years, you would give anything to be: This exact age, to be exactly this healthy and back at this exact moment. Now take a second to enjoy it now,” he quoted writer Rich Webster.
“If you radiate happiness, you spread it. There is no speculation about this. Let us be a light in people’s lives and spread it; become radiant like the sun,” he shared, quoting Dutchman Wim Hof.
He finished his stories so far today with a fun session at the wave pool in Waco, Texas.
