Koa Smith says he surfed one of the best waves of his life in Panama
And the Hawaiian is dedicated to chasing perfect waves all over the world.
Koa Smith is a dedicated traveler of the world chasing perfect waves. He surfed what was considered the best wave ever surfed at Skeleton Bay last year, the best wave in what is now revered as the best wave in the world.
A few weeks ago at Silverbacks he got a great tube that was caught halfway, but just by looking at part of the route you can see why he considered it that way.
The Hawaiian says that he made a very demanding drop and then positioned himself for a barrel that is almost wider than it is high and came out to tell the tale.
When the Central American Caribbean sets out, it sets out with a vengeance.
