Kolohe Andino parted ways with O'Neill before the end of his contract

It was supposed to last until 2027, according to what had transpired in January 2022 when it was signed.

Californian golden boy Kolohe Andino has cut ties early with surfwear giant O'Neill, which acted as one of his main sponsors, he announced on social media.

“I want to thank O'Neill for his incredible support over the past few years. Our journey together has been unforgettable and I truly thank everyone involved for their hard work. As I venture into new waters, I am grateful for the experiences and lessons learned. Here's to the future and more waves ahead!” Andino wrote on social media yesterday.

According to what Stab reported in January 2022, when the contract was signed, it was to be for five years. Just over two years and three months later, the agreement came to an end for reasons that were not reported.

It is known that the Kolohe of two years ago is very different from the one he is now, since back then he was still part of the CT and now he didn't even manage to qualify for the challengers through the North American regional (it is not known if he will get a wildcard).

Andino has some support, though, because throughout his career he has been in the middle of big fights for sponsors that have given him a significant income.

In addition, at the top of the table, it has Red Bull as its main sponsor.
