Late season swell yesterday at Mavericks
Super session with Greg Long, Peter Mel, Lucas Chumbo and several locals; sun, tubes and rescues
The Northern Hemisphere is still working; just days after Nazaré produced one of the biggest swells of the season, Mavericks turned on yesterday, Sunday.
It was a sunny and orderly day with the presence of several stars such as Peter Mel, Greg Long and Lucas Chumbo (who traveled from Nazaré to California and ended up eating a bomb on his head and had to be rescued from the water).
Early in the morning, local Ryan Agunstein caught one of the best waves of the day. John Mel surfed some good lefts, and Long and Mel caught some bombs.
