The Guatemalan Latin Fest, which will take place on Hawaii Beach between October 13 and 16, will distribute more than $15.000 in the nine divisions that will be contested, in addition to the prizes that will be provided by the tournament sponsors, the organization reported on social media.

The open category for men and women will receive the highest prize, with $1300 for each of the winners. The rest of the categories: Longboard, SUP Race, Bodyboard and under 18 shortboard will receive between $550 and $600 for the winners, with prizes up to fourth place.

“We are inviting the entire Latin American continent to participate in our grand event,” Beltrán Piedrasanta, president of the Guatemalan surfing association, told DUKE a few days ago. He is confident that more surfers from various countries will come this year.
