Two-time ISA World Champion, former Latin American Champion, WSL South American Champion, and Olympian Leandro Lele Usuna has renewed his contract with Rip Curl again, he and the brand announced today on social media.

In the photo, the Argentine is seen signing a new contract with the brand that has been with him for 13 of his 37 years.

“I'm very happy to be able to continue with a brand that represents me so much. Rip Curl has been by my side for over 13 years, has seen me become a world champion, a national champion, a Latin American champion, a champion in the WSL South American Regional Championship, and a go to the Olympic Games, and today they continue to support me like they did on the first day,” Lele told DUKE.

He added: “I feel lucky, honored, and proud to represent a brand that's so cool, that I admire, and that I love so much. I feel like we share the same passion for surfing, for The Search, and it represents me. I represent the brand, and the brand represents me.”

"So I'm very happy to be able to continue this relationship with such a brand that's already a family to me," he concluded.

Usuna recently competed in the ISA World Championships, where she placed 31st out of more than 150 athletes.
