Leo Fioravanti and Mikey Wright play for their permanence in the CT in a surf off in Pipe
Unlike what had been announced before Covid, it will not be in three stages but in a single event
Italian Leonardo Fioravanti and Australian Mikey Wright will play for their permanence in the world's top division through a best-of-three playoff that will take place at Pipeline between December 6 and 20, the WSL reported on its website.
Whoever wins the match will keep his place on the CT and whoever loses will become the main substitute.
The WSL announced that the series will take place between the first and second rounds of local trials, the second between the semi-finals and finals of the trials and the third, if necessary, will take place on the first day of the main event.
Fioravanti arrived in Hawaii a few weeks ago, Wright is not a social media man and his latest post is a photo of a beer with the person he says he married.
