Special coverage presented by Surf City - El Salvador Travel
Costa Rican longboarder Lía Díaz has just been crowned champion of the ALAS 2024 tour after her main rival, who needed to win the championship, Jazmine Dean of Puerto Rico, was left out of the Surf City ALAS Pro in the semis.
Diaz is currently competing in the second semis but no matter what result she gets there, she is already the champion.
The young longboarder who was a bronze medalist in Santiago 2023, a medalist at the Santa Catalina 2023 Pan American Games, and who won the El Salvador stage last year, achieved her first ALAS title.
He achieved good results in Guatemala, Nicaragua and Punta Rocas.
She had arrived second behind Marcela Machado but turned the tables.
