Lisa Andersen puts “much” of her board collection up for sale

"Preferably the whole collection, not individual boards," the four-time world champion wrote on Instagram.


One of the greatest surfers of all time, Lisa Andersen, has put up for sale a large number of the boards she has saved throughout her career.

He did so via an Instagram post informing his more than 65.000 followers: “Attention! Surfboard collectors of the world. A large portion of my surfboard collection is available for purchase. Preferably the entire collection, not individual boards. DM me if interested.”

Andersen was a four-time world champion between 1994 and 1997 and became one of the most influential female surfers in history.

She was raised on the East Coast of the United States and ran away from home leaving a note stating that she was going to California to become a world champion.

Thus began a successful career in which he first won dozens of titles at the United States National Scholastic Championships.

Several of the boards he used for his achievements are for sale.
