Lucas Chumbo and Michelle des Boullions won the big wave championship in Cardoso
Santa Marta Lighthouse broke with waves of four to six meters all day; the event qualified surfers for the Big Wave Alliance 2025 tournament
Lucas Chumbo and Michelle des Bouillons confirmed their lead in the CBS Big Wave that took place today on Cardoso beach and won with authority the event that took place on a day of four to six metre waves.
This was the third edition of the event, Chumbo's third final and the same result in the one-two as in the 2018 edition, with two surfers from Saquarema occupying the one-two, him and Marcos Monteiro.
Chumbo added 8,07 and 7,33 to become champion.
In third place was Guilherme Hilel, in fourth Pedro Calado, in fifth Lapo Coutinho and in sixth Carlos Henrique.
The event qualified Chumbo and Des Bouillons for the Big Wave Alliance that Gary Linden is organizing for 2025.
