Punta del Este native Lucas Madrid won the second stage of the Uruguayan professional surfing circuit, which concluded after a day of perfect and consistent waves at the La Aguada beach break.

The final was very close, decided by 0,07, 13,97 for Madrid and 13,9 for Olarte.

Madrid was effective in his frontside turns, making good carvings in powerful waves that he waited patiently for.

Olarte remained more active, taking several waves, one of which was the best of the grand final, a 7,77 that he achieved after doing a good frontside aerial that he combined with good cuts and that he fell when closing it. That maneuver cost the goofy footer dearly.

The result left a perfect tie at the top of the ranking, both have 1860 points, both won one stage and placed second in the other, thus setting the tone for the final.

Matías Nóbrega and Santiago Madrid were tied for third place.

In the women's category, Delfina Morosini won by a wide margin, leaving Nicole Leiva in second place and Sofia Alfonso in third. Morosini is number one in the rankings and is going for another title for her collection.

Yesterday in Bikini the second of the youth tour took place, which left Maximus Petrina and Máximo Vargas in first place in Under 16 and Under 18 respectively.
