Lucas Madrid won the third and is number one in Uruguay

Lucas Madrid made the home team respect him, won and took the lead in the rankings, taking an important step towards becoming a two-time Uruguayan champion today in fun waves of half a meter to one meter at the iconic El Emir beach in Punta del Este.
In the grand final he beat the young talent Santiago González and before that he had to face his older brother, Santiago, whom he beat by 1,9 points.
The blond from Punta del Este who put his heart and soul into qualifying for the Lima 2019 Pan American Championship is at his best, surfing with strength, speed and serious maneuvers and this is giving him results.
Patán Olarte, who shared the lead with Lucas, was left in round 3, he could not beat Santiago Madrid and Julián Pérez and with that he gave up the lead.
Tied for third place were Julián Pérez and Santiago Madrid.
In the women's category, Nicole Delger was the winner, achieving her first open victory in USU history. The final was completed by Sofía Alfonos, Orehana Javiel and Delfina de León.
